Knauf Tiefengrund is a vapour-permeable, deep-penetrating product. It strengthens highly dusty, very absorbent or damaged substrates, both inside and outside buildings. Used prior to laying ceramic tiles, plastering, painting, wallpapering, skimming, and as a primer for thin-layer screeds and floor underlays. May be diluted with water: max. 1:1.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wear and tear:<\/strong> approx. 0.1 l\/m\u00b2<\/p>\n<h2>Knauf Tiefengrund \u2013 zakres stosowania<\/h2>\n<p>Knauf Tiefengrund strengthens wall surfaces, prolongs the setting time, improves the workability of materials and evens out their absorbency, thereby minimising the risk of blistering and cracking. The product can be used on a wide range of substrates, but is particularly recommended for absorbent and dust-prone ones:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>brick,<\/li>\n<li>concrete, aerated concrete blocks, Suporex, Ytong,<\/li>\n<li>ceramics,<\/li>\n<li>cement screeds<\/li>\n<li>internal and external cement-lime plasters,<\/li>\n<li>plaster, plasterboards and plasterboard panels<\/li>\n<li>cement-bonded particle boards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The product is ready for use, but when applied to clean, stable surfaces with low absorbency, it can be diluted with water in a ratio of up to 1:1. Dilution increases the product\u2019s coverage, although it offers excellent coverage even without dilution. A 5-litre canister costs just 73 z\u0142, and this amount will be enough for both small and medium-sized renovation projects.<\/p>\n<h2>How do you prepare the surface for applying Knauf Tiefengrund primer?<\/h2>\n<p>The primed substrate must, above all, be sound and dry. It is also essential that it is clean, i.e. free from dust, oil, grease, mould, cement slurry and anti-adhesive agents. If there are cracks in the surface, they must be widened, cleaned out and filled with a repair and levelling compound. <a href=\"https:\/\/sklep.pkcomplex.pl\/en\/product\/knauf-m1-repair\/\">Knauf M1 Repair<\/a>. When applying Knauf Tiefengrund, ensure that no puddles form on the surface.
