Product description
This is a special, high-performance mortar for bonding polystyrene and KZW 700 mineral wool insulation boards. Ideal for creating a reinforcing layer. It is resistant to mechanical impact. Reinforced with special fibres, it is adhesive, flexible, water-resistant and frost-resistant. It is suitable for both manual and machine application.
Mortar for special tasks
The use of Knauf KZW 700 fibre-reinforced adhesive increases the frost resistance of the insulation layer. The product offers excellent weather resistance, even during application. This means that work on installing a building’s insulation can be carried out even in adverse weather conditions. KZW 700 ensures an optimal setting and curing rate for the mortar, as well as adequate flexibility, which prevents cracks from forming immediately after application.
Knauf Adhesive – effective support for insulation
Knauf KZW 700 adhesive is used on polystyrene in the form of various types of insulation boards. It ensures a reliable bond between components, which is essential for the thermal insulation of buildings. The use of Knauf KZW 700 fibre-reinforced adhesive effectively helps to improve the thermal protection of the insulated building, enhancing the insulating properties of the materials.
Glass-fibre reinforced adhesive: for polystyrene and wool
The adhesive we offer is an excellent solution for fixing both polystyrene and mineral wool components. Panels made from these materials, bonded using Knauf KZW 700, form a watertight, robust structure. Insulation installed using glass-fibre-reinforced adhesive offers superior mechanical properties. It is a mixture of cement, mineral fillers and the aforementioned fibres, in appropriate proportions. Intended for bonding and skimming external insulation elements on buildings.
High-performance adhesive for KZW 700 fibre mesh from Knauf
As well as fixing insulation boards, this product is also ideal for fixing mesh. It effectively bonds the reinforcement elements of the insulation. Knauf KZW 700 reinforced adhesive with glass fibre is suitable for embedding mesh, thereby providing additional reinforcement for the insulation structure – once set, it adequately protects and stabilises the structure.
