Fillers and powder-based finishing compounds – guidelines for use

The approach to finishing materials intended for mixing differs significantly from that for ready-to-use products. What should you do when working with powdered fillers?

    • Observe the mixing ratios – Add the correct amount of water to the powder, in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
    • Use the freshly prepared mixture – Use the filler straight away after preparing it, so that it does not lose its properties.
    • Mix only as much as you need – Only prepare as much filler as you can use.

All powder mixtures It should be prepared using low-speed mechanical mixers to avoid introducing air into the mixture and to ensure the correct proportions are maintained.

Store powdered products correctly – the putty must be stored in a dry place
