Delivery information

Order preparation

Once the payment has been processed, the order is forwarded for fulfilment. We prepare orders within a few working days – this timeframe may vary depending on the type of goods and the chosen delivery method.

Estimated delivery time

The estimated delivery time is calculated from the date of dispatch and depends on the source of supply (factory/warehouse), the type of product and the current logistics workload.

Available delivery options

In our shop, we offer three basic delivery methods building materials from the brand KNAUF:

  1. Delivery directly from the manufacturer
  2. (a) This delivery method applies primarily to full-pallet products.

Key rules:

  • delivery is carried out directly from the factory to the customer,
  • Products are dispatched on full pallets only*,
  • it is not possible to mix products (no mixed pallets),
  • The cost of transport depends on total weight of the order (as per the transport table),
  • free delivery on orders of 8 tonnes or more.

With a full-pallet delivery, the following options are available:

  • ordering products sold both on arts, as well as on parcels,
  • *adding selected products, which do not require full-pallet dispatch (e.g. individual items).
  1. b) Mineral wool
  • It is normally sent as Full pallets – no mixing allowed,
  • it is possible to place an order partial pallets, however:
    • in which case the order is dispatched from the warehouse in Nowy Sącz or
    • An order may be split into two separate shipments, which they do not have to arrive on the same day.

Methods of packaging and transporting wool:

  • for shipments directly from the manufacturer mineral wool is transported to factory-packed, full pallets, very tightly packed and secured for transport,
  • for shipments from the warehouse in Nowy Sącz wool can be prepared in the form of a single roll or several rolls, arranged on a smaller pallet and subsequently wrapped in film (sealed) – these are not factory pallets.

This allows for greater logistical flexibility when dealing with smaller or mixed orders.

  1. (c) Expanded polystyrene
  • is sent directly from the manufacturer,
  • is in force minimum logistics volume: 30 m³ (orders below this quantity are not possible),
  • from Delivery of 30 m³ is FREE,
  • The transport calculator takes into account mileage allowance – Once the customer has selected the type and thickness and entered their postcode, they receive the final price, including delivery,
  • Certain thicknesses and types of polystyrene must be ordered multiples of the entire block (e.g. a minimum of 14 packets); with standard options, this restriction does not usually apply.
  1. Delivery from the warehouse in Nowy Sącz

From our warehouse in Nowy Sącz We offer more flexible delivery options.

The following are possible:

  • full pallets,
  • half a pallet,
  • mixed pallets (various products),
  • individual items and packs.

Transport costs:

  • is calculated on the basis of total weight of the order,
  • is always presented by product transport calculator.

 

  1. Courier delivery

This delivery method is intended for small orders:

  • It is already possible to place an order one item or one pack product,
  • The delivery cost is calculated automatically transport calculator.

 

  1. Collection in person – Nowy Sącz warehouse

It is possible to collection of the order in person from our warehouse in Nowy Sącz.

  • option available for products currently in stock,
  • no transport costs,
  • The collection date is arranged on a case-by-case basis once the order has been placed.

Mixed deliveries and mixed pallets

In many cases, we combine different supply sources to ensure that the customer receives the best price and logistics.

Possible scenarios:

  • full pallets dispatched direct from the factory + small items dispatched from warehouse in Nowy Sącz,
  • the entire order is dispatched from a single location (factory or warehouse),
  • splitting the order into several shipments.

Transport calculator:

  • shows How many pallets are being shipped from the factory?,
  • how many from the warehouse in Nowy Sącz,
  • presents total transport cost.

 

Important logistical information

Delivery times

  • deliveries are made during working hours,
  • in most cases It is not possible to choose the exact time of delivery,
  • The driver may ring you before delivery, but is not guaranteed.

Unloading

  • Unloading is always the customer’s responsibility,
  • The customer is required to provide the necessary equipment (e.g. forklift truck) or personal assistance,
  • driver there is no obligation to unload the goods.

Access and unloading point

Approximate dimensions of the most common delivery vehicles:

  • TIR (tractor-trailer combination): length approx. 16.5 m, width approx. 2.5 m, height up to approx. 4.0 m,
  • Truck (a lorry without a semi-trailer): length approx. 7–9 m, width approx. 2.5 m, height up to approx. 3.5–4.0 m,
  • A solo trip with a trailer: overall length approx. 12–14 m, width approx. 2.5 m, height up to approx. 4.0 m.

The dimensions given are approximate and are intended to help you assess whether you can access the delivery location.

  • you should make sure that the location is accessible by car by lorry (TIR / single lorry with a semi-trailer),
  • Sufficient space is required for manoeuvring and unloading,
  • Unloading by the roadside or on the verge is permitted – The venue must be safe and organised by the client.

Important: where it is not possible to access the site or unload the goods, the costs of waiting, re-transport or returning the goods to be borne by the customer.

Supplies from several sources

If the order is being processed at the same time from the factory and from the warehouse in Nowy Sącz:

  • the goods will arrive in two separate consignments,
  • shipments they do not have to arrive on the same day.

 

Refundable pallets (shipped directly from the manufacturer)

For certain products that are dispatched directly from the manufacturer on pallets to the order a deposit pallet is automatically added. It is not possible to remove this item from the order.

Types of pallets and costs:

  • KN‑WO range (used, for example, with certain building materials): 60 zł net per item.
  • Pallet for plasterboard sheets: 120 zł net per item.

A pallet is always added automatically to full-pallet orders dispatched directly from the factory.

Return of returnable pallets:

  • Given a specific number of pallets, it is possible to notifying us of a pallet collection,
  • pallets may be redeemed / settled as part of a deposit subject to prior agreement on the details.

Important:

  • for shipments from the warehouse in Nowy Sącz Orders are processed usually on non-returnable and free pallets,
  • Palletisation rules may vary depending on the product – details are always shown in the basket and the order summary.
