Knauf Betokontakt 20 kg – concrete primer
A special mixture of quartz sand and a plastic dispersion with high resistance to alkalis. Betokontakt by Knauf is a bonding primer for smooth indoor concrete substrates. It significantly improves the adhesion of the plaster coat to the substrate. It is a system solution for Knauf gypsum plasters. The product is solvent-free, vapour-permeable and ready for use once mixed.

Knauf Betokontakt is a technologically advanced primer, the formulation of which is based on a combination of plastic dispersions and quartz sand. Its most important feature is its high resistance to alkaline agents – thanks to this, the primer guarantees the stability of the bonding layer even in challenging chemical conditions of the substrate. Once dry, Betokontakt forms a rough texture which acts as a bonding bridge, drastically increasing the bond strength between the plaster and a smooth surface. The key properties of Knauf’s Betokontakt primer include:
- high vapour permeability: The wall retains its ability to „breathe”, which prevents moisture build-up.
- safe storage: The product is solvent-free, environmentally friendly and safe for the health of the applicator.
- ready for use: Once mixed, the compound is ready for application straight away, which saves time on site.
