APPLICATION
Knauf K4 White is ideal for bonding light-coloured, translucent marble slabs, natural stone, mosaics and other natural stones that are susceptible to discolouration. It is an excellent product for small to large-format tiles, both indoors and outdoors. It is versatile and can therefore be used on all standard building substrates. The product is used, amongst other things, in residential and industrial construction, garages, retail and commercial premises, offices, public buildings, healthcare facilities, nurseries, kindergartens, schools and other venues.
Knauf K4 white adhesive: standards and certifications
Knauf K4 complies with the requirements of standard PN-EN 12004 for C2TES1-type products, and holds a Hygiene Certificate and a Declaration of Performance. K4 white adhesive forms part of the bonding system for ceramic tiles in the Knauf Thermo Ceramic and Knauf Thermo W Ceramic ETICS kits.
The substrate and its preparation
Before laying the tiles, ensure that the substrate is properly prepared. It must be level, dry and free from dust and other substances that reduce adhesion. Any significant unevenness must be levelled out. Depending on the location, type or absorbency of the surface, it is also advisable to prime it.
