Knauf Katja Sprint Anschlussfix is a hybrid polymer-based membrane adhesive, designed for the precise fixing of Katja Sprint insulation to interior walls. Thanks to its excellent adhesion to the substrate, it ensures durable and watertight bonds. Its flexible formula makes application significantly easier, whilst the absence of solvents makes it a safe solution for users and environmentally friendly. Using adhesive on the Katja Sprint membrane

It is designed for use on indoor floors. It is used to fix the Katja Sprint membrane to:

• bituminous roofing membranes (e.g. R 500),
• bituminous waterproofing membranes (e.g. G 200 DD),
• plastic membranes compatible with bitumen (compliant with standard 18195-2 or DIN 18195-4).

Applying the adhesive to Knauf Katja Sprint membranes is straightforward and involves just a few simple steps. The contact surface must be clean, sound and free from contaminants such as dust, oil or grease. It is advisable to carry out an adhesion test before use, although priming the substrate is not necessary. The product is applied using manual or pneumatic dispensers, forming even strips. After application, wait for approximately 5 minutes, then press the membrane firmly onto the substrate. Full adhesion is achieved after 30–60 minutes, and the joint may only be loaded once it has fully cured, which takes 2 to 3 days. The working temperature should be between +5°C and +30°C. Thanks to its unique formula, this product is ideal as a system adhesive for roofing membranes used indoors for horizontal waterproofing. It ensures maximum watertightness at the junctions with walls, eliminating the risk of moisture penetrating from the ground into the upper parts of the building.
