Product description
Knauf K4 Gel is a modern tile adhesive developed using innovative gel technology. Its formula, containing active gelling silicate, ensures exceptional adhesion and ease of application, whilst the product itself offers increased flexibility. You can use it on difficult, flexible substrates such as OSB boards, old tiles, underfloor heating substrates or waterproofed surfaces. Thanks to its S1 classification, it is able to compensate for minor movements and vibrations in the substrate without the risk of the tiles coming loose.
Knauf K4 gel tile adhesive can be applied in a layer between 2 and 15 mm thick, allowing minor surface irregularities to be levelled out. The product has zero sag – this means it can be used to install tiles on walls, even from above. It is recommended for both professional construction applications and DIY finishing work at home. Knauf K4 Adhesive. Universal use
Knauf K4 adhesive is suitable for a wide range of applications, both indoors and outdoors. It can be used on balconies, terraces, façades, in bathrooms, kitchens and on external staircases – as the product is designed for bonding all types of tiles: porcelain stoneware, clinker, ceramic and non-staining natural stone. It performs excellently with large-format tiles on both floors and walls. Indoors, it can be used to lay tiles larger than 150 × 150 cm, whilst outdoors, sizes up to 90 × 90 cm are recommended. The adhesive is fully frost-resistant and waterproof, making it resistant to rain, snow and damp.
The product can be used, amongst other things, in residential and industrial construction, garages, commercial and retail premises, offices, public buildings, healthcare facilities, nurseries, pre-schools and schools and other places.
