We are pleased to present a new addition to our range – Knauf Therm ETIXX Fasada λ 31, a moulded polystyrene board for the thermal insulation of façades. We stock this graphite-coloured polystyrene in the following thicknesses: 12, 15, 20, 25 and 30 cm. When placing your order, please specify the thickness in the comments section and provide your delivery address. It is ideal for insulating external walls using the „light wet” (ETICS/BSO) and „light dry” methods.

Important! Delivery of materials is available only for orders of over 30 m³.

Properties of Knauf’s 15 and 20 cm thick graphite polystyrene boards:

  • made from expanded polystyrene enriched with graphite particles, which gives the board excellent insulating properties (low thermal conductivity coefficient λ = 0.031 W/mK),
  • manufactured using press moulding technology, which ensures high dimensional stability – the sheet has straight edges and a flat surface,
  • dimensions: 1200 × 600 mm – 20% larger than a standard polystyrene panel,
  • The ETIXX panel is the logo of the Knauf Therm building insulation brand.

Structure of Knauf Therm ETIXX Fasada polystyrene foam, λ 31

The top surface of Knauf 15 and 20 cm polystyrene boards is characterised by:

  • a corrugated texture that improves the adhesion of subsequent layers of the thermal insulation system,
  • clearly marked pegging points,
  • horizontal and vertical lines that reduce the internal stresses in the slab.

The underside of a Knauf Therm ETIXX Fasada polystyrene board, 15 or 20 cm thick, has:

  • marked areas where it is recommended to apply adhesive mortar (dots + box),
  • 5 trapezoidal grooves, which improve grip on the wall,
  • a finish that improves the panel’s adhesion to the wall – no sanding required!
  • a chamfer on the edge of the panel, which creates space for excess adhesive, enabling the panels to fit together tightly.

Advantages of Knauf 15 and 20 cm polystyrene foam

Knauf’s graphite-coloured polystyrene, available in thicknesses of 15 or 20 cm, is approximately 30% thinner than standard white polystyrene, making it easy to install the panels on balconies or loggias without significantly reducing living space. The product is manufactured using a press-moulding process – this ensures high dimensional stability, as it features straight edges and a flat surface. Another advantage is its size: 1200 × 600 mm, which provides 20% more surface area than classic models. The polystyrene is made from expanded polystyrene enriched with graphite particles, which gives the panel excellent insulation properties (low thermal conductivity coefficient λ = 0.031 W/mK).
