KNAUF Therm Expert Roof/Floor λ 31 polystyrene boards are designated by the following code in accordance with standard EN 13163:2012+A1:2015
Application:
thermal insulation of floors beneath a precast slab sub-base
thermal insulation of floors beneath the screed
thermal insulation for floors on ground level
thermal insulation of solid and ventilated flat roofs
as wall and roof sandwich panels with bitumen felt cladding
External thermal insulation applied using the „light wet” method (BSO) – external
thermal insulation installed using the „light dry” method”
Permissible live loads in accordance with EN 13163, Annex D.2 – 24 kPa, i.e. 2,400 kg/m²
Special features:
Manufactured from an innovative raw material enhanced with a graphite compound
Greater thermal insulation compared to white polystyrene at the same panel thicknesses
Thinner slabs allow for better utilisation of usable spaces, such as loggias and terraces
