Styrofoam caps/plugs (graphite and white)
Knauf Therm polystyrene plugs/caps are used for covering the fixing points on polystyrene panels. They ensure insulation continuity thermal insulation by eliminating thermal bridges where mechanical fasteners are used. Protecting the stud heads with additional insulating material allows to eliminate the phenomenon of localised vapour condensation water-based. This prevents discolouration of the façade, commonly known as the „ladybird effect”.
