APPLICATION
Knauf K4 in grey is ideal for bonding absorbent and non-absorbent ceramic tiles, etc. For bonding small to large-format tiles both inside and outside buildings. Also suitable for all standard building substrates. The product can be used, amongst other things, in residential and industrial construction, garages, commercial and retail premises, public facilities, offices, healthcare properties, crèches, nurseries, schools and other such venues.
Applying Knauf K4 grey adhesive – how to do it properly?
The product can be applied once the primer has dried completely. At that point, we can apply the appropriate adhesive. Interestingly, for low-traffic indoor surfaces, it is necessary to coat at least 75% of the surface area of the tile to be bonded with the adhesive. For large-format tiles, outdoors or on difficult substrates, and under heavy loads, after spreading the adhesive with a trowel, a thin layer should also be applied to the tile itself. Contact between the tiles and the Knauf product should be 100%.
