Hand-applied gypsum plaster with enhanced adhesion

Knauf Rotband factory-prepared, dry gypsum plaster mix for the manual application of single-layer gypsum plasters indoors. Due to its enhanced adhesion, it is particularly recommended for difficult substrates, such as smooth concrete. Rotband gypsum plaster is easy to work with and produces uniform finishes. It is suitable for plastering all types of mineral substrates.

The Rotband gypsum plaster available in our range is a product that stands out above all for its durability and enhanced adhesion to the substrate. It is ideal for use wherever traditional plaster might be exposed to mechanical damage or various external factors. It can be used on walls that will subsequently be covered with wallpaper or paint. Rotband gypsum plaster from Knauf meets fire safety requirements.

Technical properties and applications of Rotband gypsum plaster

Rotband gypsum plaster is characterised by excellent workability and an extended working time, making it particularly well-suited to larger surfaces. Its single-layer structure reduces the number of work stages, simplifying the entire finishing process. The setting process is non-shrink, which significantly reduces the risk of cracking or delamination, even under variable environmental conditions. The plaster can be used both in dry rooms and in areas subject to periodic damp – provided the substrate has been properly prepared. Its versatile nature and compatibility with common primers and paints make it ideal as a base for further finishing work. As a result, Rotband gypsum plaster is successfully used in both residential and commercial buildings.
